Copy Formula Down Column?

Is there a way to copy a formula DOWN an entire column without dragging?

Hover the cursor over the bottom right of the cell until it turns into a + then double-click.

That didn't seem to do anything... Maybe I did something wrong

Select a cell and look at the border of the cell. In the bottom right of the cell, you will see a small square. If you put your cursor on it, the cursor will turn to a +. If you double click on the black square, it will autofill down to the first blank cell.

Maybe not ... for what I suggested to work there must be a filled column immediately to the left or right of the column you are trying to copy the formula down.

That's what happened, There is no data in the sheet yet.. I was just trying to copy the formula down the ENTIRE COLUMN because the amount of rows the sheet requires is unknown

Try this:

1. Select the whole column by clicking its heading label.
2. Type the formula
3. Press Ctrl+Enter
