When copying data from one spreadsheet to another- it pastes the numerical data correctly but changes the pattern to a green and black striped background, turns the data sideways and losing any formatting that has been done. Have tried using all the paste special options but this does nothing.. does anyone know how to stop this happening and not have to reformat the data every time... I am using excel 2003
