I need to paste a formula with the same value in a collum. When I copy cell 1 and paste in 2 - 10 it increments the number.

ex

1. left(a1,2) (Original)

after paste

2. left(a2,2)
3. left(a3,2)

I need the value left(a1,2) in all cells.

Thanks for the help.

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Hi Wayne, welcome to the Board!

What you need is an absolute reference.
Change
=LEFT(A1,2)

To
=LEFT($A$1,2)

When you copy this formula down it will continue to reference A1.
