copy string from one row/cell to rows

hi, how can I multiply/copy the value of one cell (sting) to rows bellow. e.g i have to set value of copy string in new rows. like REPT but not in same cell, need new row?

sorry i am confused to let take a look in picture. i use your explanation "=EXPAND(B3;A3;;B3)" for new rows and combine columns B-H in column J. In cell J5 i wand to add value of A3. Is this possible?

Can you post what your actual data is like (not an image), as you have now shown 3 different samples of data.

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.

Hi, sorry i cant install XL2BB. and i will try again to install. i put formula into cells.
I would like to explain again with cell formula i used from your suggestion. (see picture) I receive some data and copy them into column C and G. sometimes i receive 5 sometimes more than 1000. i wish to excel make lines instead of me in column J, to grown like value in cell A3.
if i change cell A3 to 10, column J will not rise. Only if i change value C9 to C14 and and G8 into G14 column will grown. i wish to automate this part and probably everything will be fine for me.
