okay guys this is what my X4 formula is =COUNTIF($K$4:$V$4, "630")+COUNTIF($K$4:$V$4, "645")+COUNTIF($K$4:$V$4, "7")+COUNTIF($K$4:$V$4, "715")+COUNTIF($K$4:$V$4, "730")+COUNTIF($K$4:$V$4, "745")+COUNTIF($K$4:$V$4, "8")

As u can see i'm doing this formula with all these criteria but i want X5 to literally be the same thing but instead of K4 through V4 it needs to be K5 through V5 and I want to keep replicating this all the way down from X4 to X5 to X6 all the way down. can someone please help me????

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Maybe I am missing something obvious with your question, but you have all your cell addresses as absolute (meaning $K$4:$V$4) when all you need to do is lose the absolute reference $ characters. A quick way to do that is to select cell X4, then select its entire formula in the formula bar. Press the F4 key 3 times and hit Enter. After that you can copy down the formula in cell X4 to have it reference the relative rows as you asked about.
