Hi all. I have a workbook which transforms data input from an infopath survey and performs various calculations on it. The user needs to complete the infopath form, export the data to Excel, copy that data to the main sheet in my workbook, then click a button to run the transformations / calculations.
The workbook works perfectly when the data is entered correctly, but I'm having an issue with the copying of the data from the Excel sheet that is output from infopath into the actual workbook. For some reason, some of the columns' data are imported as numbers stored as text instead of just a normal number...
When this happens, many of the calculations I am doing don't work correctly because the numbers are stored as text.
Is there any way to fix this issue automatically with a special form of paste (paste values is greyed out) or with vba? When I record a macro and select the "Convert to Number" option, nothing shows up in my macro code aside from selecting the cell.
If anyone can help me with this error I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
Hank
