copying data without existing format

I have a spreadsheet with some conditional formatting set up. I frequently recieve new data to add to my spreadsheet, but due to the formatting on the incoming data spreadsheet, when I copy and paste the data into my own spreadsheet, my conditional formatting doesnt seem to take.

Any Ideas if there is a way of copying data across and ignoring old formatting (such as cell colour). OR getting my conditional formatting to overwrite any of the incoming data's formatting???

Thanks.
