Copying linked spreadsheets

Every year end I have a set of three workbooks (all with one spreadsheet) that shared linked data between them. The next year I need to set up another identical version of these three workbooks and then change the data. I want them to keep the links between them. The other day I had them open and when I did a "save as" on one of them, all the links in my 2010 version changed to 2011. I need to keep the 2010 set intact and all linked together and make a new set for 2011 that is linked together. Can I do this without having to edit individual links? Sorry for the long winded question.

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
It may be as simple as keeping each year's workbooks in it's own folder. At the start of each new year, make a new folder (2011) and copy the previous year's (2010) workbooks to that folder (in Windows, not Save As). Open the copies, do a Save As on all three, then delete the copies.

That will leave the previous year intact in their own folder and automatically update the links to the new folder.

Hope this helps.
