Costing Sheet Help require

my boss had given me an assignment to prepare a excel workbook for costing
there are more than 1000 spare parts (variance)
Spare part sheets i had prepared, there are sub assemblies that includes various parts, now......
what i have to do is to get the annexure sheet select the sub assemblies so that there costs reflects in order and i get the costing
some spare part rates are flexible so when i change the rates in subassemblies sheets those should reflect in the annexure page

can any one help me or give me any sample excel file so that i could get help to prepare this assignment..?????
