I have a spread sheet that has for example in column A the supplier source. In column B is a source code for discrepancies of parts received late.

I need a formula that will for example count all of certain supplier in column A that has a specific source code in column B.

Note: Coulumn A will have maybe three or four suppliers sources where as coulumn B can hace codes ranging from A-Z and 0-9. Both coulumns will have duplicates.

Thanks

David

Good morning KA7DJW

Welcome to the board!

How about :

=SUMPRODUCT(--(Sheet1!$A$1:$A$100="Bob Ltd"),--(Sheet1!$B$1:$B$10="A"))

To count the number of cells where supplier = "bob ltd" and the source is = "A" - obviously the range may need altering.

If this formula helped, there is a utility in my add-in (via link below) to construct this type of formula to count / sum cells meeting a number of different criteria.
