Good day all,

I am hoping to get some idea on a solution that may work for my dilemma.

I am trying to find the count of worksheet based on two criterias. The first looks for an alpha-numberic character such as "04B", the second looks at the available dates. Format "20100101".

I want to be able to change the dates in B23 in my my first worksheet so the data will change below.

Here is my setup thus far:

1st Worksheet: A25:A40 contains a key "04.." I want to first look at another worksheet entitled "Service" for "04.." in F2:F3000.

Second, my critieria date is in B23 in the first worksheet and second look at worksheet entitled "Service" in I2:I3000 for my manually entered date critiera.

Below is my formula that returns all 1's which I know is incorrect. Any help is always appreciated.

=COUNTA(IF(AND(ADMIN_CODE=MGR_FIELD!A25,Record_Keeping>=MGR_FIELD!B24),DCOUNTA(Record_Keeping,1,MGR_FIELD!B24),""))

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
I got lost trying to figure out what is where, work on the principle of

=SUMPRODUCT(--(F2:F3000=A25),--(I2:I3000=B$23))
