Dear,

I would like to count cells which are containing a specific part of text.

Example, i want to count cells that are containing text from Column B in it :

A
BC (Resault)
PK5555015555
3
PK5555025555
PK5555035555
PK5556015556
1
PK5557035557
1

I suppose it is done with COUNTIF function but I don't know how to set a Criteria.

Best regards,

Shaggy

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
