Count Days between Days

Hello all,

I was wondering if you can help me. I need to know how to count the amount of days between Monday to Friday? Also, I need it to count days over a weekend.

If cell 1A contains Monday, cell 1B Friday, I need cell 1C to count 4 days between Monday to Friday.

Without a lookup table,

=MOD((MATCH(B1,TEXT(WEEKDAY({1,2,3,4,5,6,7}),"dddd"),0)-MATCH(A1,TEXT(WEEKDAY({1,2,3,4,5,6,7}),"dddd"),0))+7,7)

this also works over weekends without giving a negative result.

Obviously I was assuming in my last post that there is an actual date in the cells and not just text .
