Hi guys sorry to bring this old thread back, but I found it doing a google search. I managed to make the code work and now it gives me a count of the emails in the folder. I need to kick it up a notch.

I need to get Excel to count the emails in different regional mail boxes and give me a break down of volume per hour. I know this is a huge task, but to get me started I'd like to know how to take the data from Outlook and sent to a cell. So instead of displaying a message "number of email in folder" running the VB script will display the number of emails and carry it over to a cell. Thanks for the help!

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Tom Urtis. I know its way to long old thread. I found it on internet.

The code you have given is absolutely perfect. I was looking for such code from could of weeks.

I have somewhat similar situation.

I have outlook mail box. In which there one folder "Inbox" (default one). Under inbox I have four more subfolders namely "Ver1", Ver2","Ver3" and "Ver4"

What I am looking for count of emails on each date in each subfolder.

I have an excel sheet in which cell B1, C1, D1, E1 has dates mentioned. And Cells A2, A3, A4, A5 has names of subfolders ( namely "Ver1", Ver2","Ver3" and "Ver4")

I need count of emails received on dates mentioned in cells B1, C1, D1 and on in folders mentioned in A2, A3, A4 and on

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks a ton.
