Count Formula

I have a list of Part numbers that will have duplicates. I have another row where I have the Status for each row (Example: "Current")

Is there a way to count how many "Current" but not count the duplicates part numbers that are "current".

Example:
Current = 3
Expired = 2

1234	Current
1234	Current
1234	Expired
564	Expired
564	Current
564	Expired
987	Current
