I have a dynamic name range for my dates in the current month and I want a formula that calculates the number or working days within the month including saturdays. Because it is a dynamic range, I'm trying to do this using the name range ("Dates"), instead of a first and last date formula via networkdays.

Is there a way to do this with COUNTIF?

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
Maybe something like this

=SUMPRODUCT(--(WEEKDAY(Dates)<>1),--ISNA(MATCH(Dates,Holydays,0)))

assuming you also have a named-range = Holydays
