I have this data:

800701191000000 Total 14.7

450701228000000 Marshall Bldg CF 1.53
450701228000000 Total 1.53

I want a function to count how many different classes there are for each product. Maybe sumproduct or vlookup can handle this not sure I can't make it work. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi, The below formula will count unique records within the range A1:A5

Code:
=SUMPRODUCT((A1:A5<>"")/COUNTIF(A1:A5,A1:A5&""))
