Count number of columns in a range

I know there is an easy formula to count the number of columns in a range such as A1:E1 - Formula should return 5. Any ideas??
 

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Sort by date Sort by votes
