Is this an appropriate way of counting how many cells in a range have a fill colour of (custom variable) "ccgreen"?

VBA Code:
With ws_form
   rwend = Application.WorksheetFunction.Match("end", .Columns(8), 0) - 1
   Set rngseg = .Range("H9:H" & rwend)
   cntata = Application.WorksheetFunction.CountIf(rngseg, .Cells.Interior.Color = ccgreen)
End with

This method, possibly useless, is giving me a value of 0, when it would be clearly higher (testing has 8 green cells filled).

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
No, you cannot use native Excel worksheet functions like "CountIf" to count formatting. "CountIf" only works on values, not formatting.

There are a number of different ways to count the cells of a certain color. I just helped someone today with this.
See here: Count number of cells in a cell range that has a particular color, especially the link in my first reply, that shows a number of different ways how to do it.

Thanks Joe. I kinda figured as such, but since many of my problems are just syntax, I thought I'd check.
I'll have to take a look at the options.
