I have my records in cells BA2:BA500. They contain mixed text data. Among them are records of Places in the world which are in the form of:- London (LO), Paris (PA), Los Angeles (LA) etc.
In Excel97 I need to count just these records. The common element is that the candidate records have a two digit text descriptor (LO) (PA) (LA) with a space before the parenthesis.
