Count / Sum with 2 criteria

hi fellow excel compatriots,

Question time!

i would like to sum/count the word "yes" on Spreadsheet 1 and have the total appear on spreadsheet 2 , with the criteria: count/ sum if yes and matches the date

eg.

Spreadsheet 1
1 2
a 6/7/2011 YES

Spreadsheet 2
1
a 6/7/2011
b (THE FORMULA FOR THE ABOVE QUESTION)

Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.

Sheet2, B2:

=SUMPRODUCT(--(Sheet1!$A$2:$A$100=A2),--(Sheet1!$B$2:$B$100="YES"))

where A2 houses a date of interest like 6/7/2011.
