I have a excel sheet with the following data

The above is the time a entry was made in a software for the specific date. Is there a formula which will give me the count the number of entries made in a specific time for that specific date.

Your ranges are A2:A20 for dates and B2:B20 for times

formula:

=sumproduct(--($A$2:$A$20=$C$1),--($B$2:$B$20=$D$1))

I would just quickly do the following. in column c create a formula that is
=cella + " " + cell B
then in column d, just do a formula that that is
=countif(all of column c,cell c)

A1 cell format is mm-dd-yyyy
B1 cell format is hh:mm:ss

Sorry that was my bad. use =a1&" "&b1 instead of +'s signs. you will get a weird number but that value is unique to your date/time. So then just do the countif on that value

Sorry, the date and time should be in these cells, the formula you put somewhere else.
