Count Unique Text Values

I have tried the following formula to count unique items on a separate sheet:

=COUNTIFS(Sheet3!A:A,Sheet1!B2,Sheet3!C:C,MATCH)

I am getting a result of 0 which is incorrect. Basically I want to count the unique items in column C on sheet 3 where the value in column A matches the value in column B2 on sheet 1.

Is it just the "match" part that is wrong?

Any advice gratefully appreciated.

Control+shift+enter, not just enter:

Thanks again for your help.

That is returning a value of 1 which is incorrect. Does the formula need adjusting given that it is searching text, not numbers?

It should work for text and number alike.
