Count?

Hi everyone. In column A there are values, specifically dates (with A1 as a header). I would like to count the number of values / dates in column A and put that number in cell E1. Is there any way to do this? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

In E1, put the formula:

=Count(A:A)-1
