CountDown Question

Hello my friends. I been trying to make a calendar countdown on excel but im block! I have to do a countdown for a Summer Club Savings account. Also it has to run offline. For example the savings account closes on December 21. So excel everytime I open it has to show me the reminder time. Please help! Im really frustrated. Thanks in advance!

in cell A1 put the formula

=now()

in cell A2 put your closing date of 21/12/2014

in cell A3 put

=DATEDIF(A1,A2,"y")&" years "&DATEDIF(A1,A2,"ym")&" months "&DATEDIF(A1,A2,"md")&" days"

or just days, in cell A3 put
