Hello
I'm wanting to count the number of instances of "Multi Worker" in column A1:A50 and identify how many belong to a specific team in column C1:C50 "GroupA" so my result would show that of the 50 enteries in column A only XX belong to GroupA.

Not sure if it's a countif or a sum product formula that I need.

Thanks in anticipation
Jenny

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Hello
I've copied the formuls but my result is showing 0 when it should show 14 ???
Could someone kindly try this for me.
Thanks

Column

Multi Worker GroupA
Non Multi GroupC

Sorry it's as simple as that. I can't copie the data in a bit of a rush.

Thanks

If you have Excel 2007 or beyond, try:

Code:
=COUNTIFS(A2:A50,"Multi Worker",C2:C50,"GroupA")
