How do I do a count if between a certain range?

I.E. I only want to count those records where the cost is greater than 100 and less than or equal to 150?

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Couple ways...

You can use 2 countis..
=COUNTIF(A1:A100,">100")-COUNTIF(A1:A100,">150")

Or perhaps sumproduct
=SUMPRODUCT(--(A1:A100>100),--(A1:A100<=150))

Hope that helps.
