I am using the following statement which works fine except sometimes I use the expression 10 + 12 in a cell to show two numbers I want the result to show 2
how do I get the countif to count if the cell is anything other then blank.

=COUNTIF(Tuesday!D9:D11,">0")

Thanks

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Taking it one step further is it possible to count the 11 + 12 as 2

so c1 =1 show as 1
so c2 =2 show as 1
so c3 = 12 + 13 show as 2
so c4 = 1 show as 1

d1=sum(c1:c4)
