Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Are you looking for the date to be a running value? As in 90 days older than today?

Excel has a TODAY function that can be used.

RETURN VALUECODE
Today8/28/2014
90 days ago5/30/2014=TODAY()-90
180 days ago3/1/2014=TODAY()-180
365 days ago8/28/2013=TODAY()-365
