I have a spreadsheet similar to this.
I'm looking to count how many queries are asked for each subject - please note the number of queries under each subject changes on a daily basis so i can't do a count type thing just on those rows. Is there a formula i can use to start counting at subject 1, then stop counting when it reaches subject 2?
Secondly I want to count how many times certain words appear in the second column in groups. So i'd be looking for a count if to count Cat, The Cat and dog. I have been using a count if but can't remember how to make it more condensed as one of the groupings i have has around 30 unique things I'm looking for.
Finally how can i get the countif to ignore similar words. So in one group I'd want it to say count Cat, but not The Cat. I tried wildcard but it still counts both no matter what.
It's been a while since i muddled with formula so these are hopefully something easy that I've just forgotten.
