Hi there,

In my team, we have an excel spreadsheet that must calculate productivity.
Therefore, I have to calculate the number of "done" per person.
The "done" is in a column Y and the "person" that is linked to this "done" is in the column X, to the left of it.
It looks like this:

XY
PierreDone

These values are in the tab "title_FR"
A new tab will be for the stats.

I want to calculate the number of "Done", but the result have to be connected with the name beside (as column X is split by all team members, for example 500 lines for Pierre, 500 for Mike, etc...)

If pierre has the lines 2 to 500, so i did
Excel Formula:
=COUNTif(title_FR!Y2Y500,"Done")
Unfortunately, it is not dynamic, because Pierre can take some lines from the others, outside the range 2-500

So yeah, i'm looking for a formula counting the number of "done", not by a range of lines but linked by the specific name on its left.

Thank you beforehand for your help :)

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)

How about
Excel Formula:
=COUNTIFS(title_FR!Y:Y,"Done",title_FR!X:X,"Mike")
