Countif with three Criteria

To whom it may concern,
what is the best way to count only if three criteria are met? For example:

=countif(Car,Red,sunroof) is there a way to do such a thing?

try this in D1 --- assuming your criteria is as follows
=sumproduct(--(A1:A8="car"),--(B1:B8="red"),--(C1:C8="sun roof")))

I don't know where your criteria will be stored, but the SUMPRODUCT works well for counting with criteria with Excel 2003
=SUMPRODUCT((E:E="red")*(F:F="sunroof")*(G:G="car"))

if you have Excel 2010
=COUNTIFS(E:E,"red",F:F,"sunroof",G:G,"car")

That formula doesn't need array entry. Just a normal Enter will do.

Assume your data is in the range A2:A10.

List the criteria in a range of cells like B2:B4.
