I need a formula to count the number entries in a column with a length of 8 characters and exclude duplicates. Using O365.
Right now, I'm using "=countif(D:D,"????????")" to count just the rows with 8 characters. It works, but obviously does not omit duplicate entries.

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
How about
Excel Formula:
=ROWS(UNIQUE(FILTER(D2:D100,LEN(D2:D100)=8)))
