Counting formula needed

I'm trying to count some values, but can't find a formula to work. I have one column that has beginning numbers, I have another column that has ending numbers. I need a formula that uses both columns to show changes. Thank you for any help.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, they need to follow the formating under the example. I need the search to begin thru the Beginning column to look for "1," then for it to look thru the Ending column to correspond with the following below. The results after the colon marks could have higher numbers. Below is an example of the needed results using the above columns:
