counting/numbering students skipping the duplicates for attendance report

Hi All,
I'm trying to count students chronologically but skip the duplicated students. I've tried autofill series but it does not skip duplicates. I also do not want to remove any of the duplicates. I'm numbering/counting 200 + students. I'm trying to find out a faster way to do this. Thanks
