Greetings,

I have a folder that contains anywhere from 1 to a dozen workbooks. Currently I have to open each file and check the row count of data. Can a macro check that for me and create a list? I've been having trouble finding any examples of this on the web.

Example:

file RowCount
fileA 22
fileB 143
fileC 211

regards,
Keith

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Does it have to be a specific sheet?

I'm guessing you could do this using countA to count the non blank cells in a given column, since it can return values from closed workbooks. If you can give a little more detail, such as which column on which sheet, then I can probably come up with something
