Hi
I can create new tab and then a group. When I went to rename the group, I got a window asking me to enter the new name and also select a "symbol/icon" for the group. I selected one symbol. When I go to the ribbon I do not see that symbol?! why is that? if that option (selecting a symbol) is not used then why it is available? Thank you very much.

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
When you are in the Options/customize ribbon, do not forget to click ok, if you leave the menu with the cross it will not create the tab or the group.
Now there is no icons for groups and no option either

so I am not sure to really understand the question.
