crawling buttons

I have a fairly large spreadsheet that is split into several tabs, each tab into several sections. I have a command button on each section that sets a print area and jumps to print preview.

Recently my buttons have started crawling up the screen; it seems to only happen when I jump into print preview and close it out.

Is there any way to stop this creeping behavior?

You could set the button's .Top and .Left properties from your code to fix the button's location.

manually set location by code, rather than through the properties function?

it worked, but briefly. now my buttons are everywhere except where they're supposed to be.

I'm supposing it's because we've updated to Excel 2010 at work, and all my stuff was done in Excel 1997.

Anyone out there know an easier fix than re-creating the sheet all the way around?
