Crazy Idea about locating files in a directory

I work at a consulting which uses spreadsheets exclusively for creating analysis that are presented to our clients. The problem is that these spreadsheet are hard to locate once the account is transitioned to my department.

Is there a macro of some sort that can search all the files in a folder and find a file based on a dollar figure. The dollar figure is generally the result of the formula so when I search with microsoft it never finds them
