create a permanent cell

hi,i want to fix this formula.


=G11-E14

when i drag.it will change to =G12-E15 right.

now i want the G11 stay and just change the E cell.

so it will be =G11-E15.when i drag it will be

=G11-E15
=G11-E16
=G11-E17

Change your formula to
=G$11-E14

The $ sign fixes that part of the cell reference.
If you want to drag the formula either left or right and still keep column G static, use
=$G$11-E14

All the possible permutations are available by highlighting the cell reference in the formula bar and pressing F4.
