Create difference form Column using Power Pivot and Dax

Hi I am trying to put a column in to find the varience between 2015 and 2016 I have learnt a wee b it about measures but am struggling how reference the column 2015 and 2016 to minues them.. When I reference the Year column it seems to reference the table in power pivot rather than the column on the table.

Anyone Help?

From what you give us I could say:

=CALCULATE(SUM([Column3]), [Year]=2016)-CALCULATE(SUM([Column3]), [Year]=2015)

But then if you want it next to 2015 and 2016 columns you will need to create 1 measure for each year:
sum2015:=CALCULATE(SUM([Column3]), [Year]=2015)
sum2016:=CALCULATE(SUM([Column3]), [Year]=2016)
delta1615:=[sum2016]-[sum2016]

If that's not what you're looking for, please give more details.
