I have several rows of data entry in a single column and want to simplify the number of rows to only unique entries (i.e. eliminate any cells whose entries are verbatim duplicates of a previous cell).

Any ideas on how to do this?

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
This should work as a macro - It just simulates and advanced filter with the "Unique" option ticked

Code:
Sub Find_Unique()

Columns("A:A").AdvancedFilter Action:=xlFilterCopy, CopyToRange:=Range("B1" _
        ), Unique:=True

End Sub

Please forgive my ignorance, but I'm not really familiar with macros. Do I just do = in the cell followed by the code you paste?
