So my boss wants me to create a graph for each account that goes down in a column, and the figures for that account span out to the right in its row. there are over 500 rows.. is there a way to create 500 seperate graphs at one time, not one-by-one? Thanks.

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
One solution I had to a similar problem was to create a pivot table and pivot chart based on the data. I then used VBA to update a value in the pivot table's Page field. This changed the chart, which VBA then printed before moving on to the next one.

I'm sorry but my knowledge of excel is a bit limited. I am not familiar with what VBA is.. is using VBA likely the only solution to my problem?

VBA is Visual Basic for Applications - it's the coding language Excel uses for its macros. It's very powerful and it allows repetitive tasks to be automated. I can't think of a way to make 500 graphs in any reasonable timescale without it. Others might, but I can't.

What is it that your boss is looking to achieve? What's he/she going to do with 500 graphs? Maybe there's another way of approaching this.

Oh i see, thanks for the update. Well, my boss already had me make a spreadsheet for all the sales reps. and their accounts monthly revenues. Now he wants a graph of each account. I guess he is going print out each reps account graphs so they can analyze their sales trends.
