Creating Master File

Here is my situation: I have a survey that will be sent out to about 200 individuals in Excel. The survey will require that they all answer in a standardized format using option buttons. Each option button has a linked cell that will return their answer which will be hidden somewhere in the spreadsheet. When all of the files are sent back I will store them in one file. I would like to have a master that will go into that file, open each workbook and count the answer of each question returning the total into the master. The master will contain all of the same questions but will show how many choose option 1, 2, or 3 for each question. I hope that this is possible. Please let me know if you would like further clarification.
