Ctrl Key Problem

Is there a way of finding out if I've accidently assigned a Ctrl key sequence to a macro. It seems when I type Ctrl "R" on one of my worksheets, it destroys some formatting. This is a new one to me!

I've got about 65 Macro/Modules, one of which may have this Ctrl R attached to it.

Thanks...

Try to avoid using Ctrl+ and the letter. Most letters are taken for a good reason as you found out, so you using one of them will override Excel's purpose of their default use. As far as I know, the letters that are not yet taken with Ctrl, for versions up to and including Excel2003, are E, J, M, Q, and T. It would be better to use Ctrl+Shift+ and a letter.

Ivan Moala has a way to find your shortcut macro keys here:

You can also try to do a find on the "current project".

Look for: ' Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+

This will find it if it was assigned when (if?) you recorded the macro
