Current working day of the month

Hi Guys,

Is there a way to populate a cell with the current working day of the month? Working day would exclude all weekends and public holidays. I have a list of public holidays in worksheet 'calendar' to identify these. For example, today (27/03/2023) would be working day 19

=NETWORKDAYS(TODAY()-DAY(TODAY())+1,TODAY(),Calendar!A2:A100)

=NETWORKDAYS(TODAY()-Day(TODAY())+1,TODAY(),Lookups!D2:D100)

Public holidays are in 'lookups' column D

Originally you said the holidays were listed on a sheet called calendar, but you are referring to a sheet called lookup.

yes, sorry I just changed the name of the calendar sheet to Lookups. If I change the name the of the Lookups sheet to Calendar and enter your original formula, I still get the #REF error? Sorry

In that case make sure that the sheet name does not have any leading/trailing spaces.

So this is really strange. If I recreate this in a new workbook your formula works great but not in my current one. Thanks for your help I'll try and figure out what is going on
