Hello all,
is there a way to custom format a number in a cell to produce (-4, in a single cell. This is half of (x,y) coordinate system. The y coordinate will be in the neighboring cell. My attempts only produce -(4, in the cell. I would like the "-" to be within the open parenthesis like this (-4,. BTW, the number 4 is any number dependent on user entry.
thank you

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
You could format the cell as (General;(-General
