Greetings,

I'm trying to tweak my custom format ever-so slightly. I'm going to have folders starting with 001 EXP 72 to 365 EXP 72. I can go to format and use a simple custom format
Excel Formula:
"000"
and that will gets me the double leading zeros 1-9 and the leading zero 10-99. However, because I have EXP 72 following in the cell which cancels out the code I just placed.

Any suggestions,

Thank you,

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
If you just put the number in the cell you can use this custom format 000" EXP 72"

Thank you, it worked, I had trouble at first, then I used Flashed Filled. I initially tried placing the 000 in " ", followed by ???. Thank you again.
