Who is Mr Spreadsheet?
Author John Walkenbach was Mr Spreadsheet until his retirement in June 2019.
Why would you want to cut from a cell and paste back in the same cell? Perhaps you mean something like

Rich (BB code):
Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A1").Cut Destination:=Sheets("Sheet2").Range("A1")
