Data in cell A3 - 131) B H L

How do I throw away the #) and the following space in cells A1, A2, and A3 and save the rest?

Re: [Resolved] Data extraction from cell in excel 2003

If you are wanting to physically change your original data within the cells the data reside in, then there is a non-formula method to do that... select the column or columns of cells containing the data you want to change, press CTRL+H to bring up the Replace dialog box, type "*) " (without the quotes, so you are typing asterisk, right parenthesis, space) into the "Find what" field, leave the "Replace with" field empty, click the "Options>>" button and make sure the "Match entire cell contents" checkbox is not checked, then click the "Replace All" button.
